Frances Puddicombe of Whitney Center, Hamden passed away on July 23, 2021 after a brief illness.
She was born in New Haven, CT on June 30, 1918 to Henry T. and Allie C. Puddicombe. Frances had worked for “the railroad” (most of the time known as the New York, New Haven and Hartford railroad) until her retirement. She enjoyed most the companionship of her many friends, acquaintances and relatives. Favorite activities included gardening, knitting, painting, swimming and anything else that caught her interest.
Frances was predeceased by her parents, her brother Henry (Pud) of LaGrange, GA. She is survived by her nephew, Tom of Leander, TX, great niece Emma Ryan and great-grand-nieces Margaret and Sarah Ryan of Austin, TX.
