Wendy Hill Stern (née Jones), of Hamden, CT, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the age of 80.

Wendy was born to parents Stewart and Bettina (Bryant) Jones on October 2. 1935 in New Haven, CT.

Wendy is survived by her son, Robert A. Stern and his wife Roxanne Stern of Los Altos, CA, her son, Richard E. Stern and his wife Cynthia Stern, four grandchildren Jessica, Allison, Kathryn and Andrew; She is preceded in death by her sister; Bettina McKay, and her parents, Stewart and Bettina (Bryant) Jones. As well as her beloved cat Bella.

Wendy was a Proof Reader, Tutored Students and was the Assistant Manager of Connecticut Natural Food Mart before she retired. She was an avid reader and collector of books. A passion she passed on to her grandchildren.
