Shannon Marcus Carey-Wilson, 35, of New Haven, CT passed away September 15, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was the son of Raymond Wilson and Nancy (Joan) Carey to whom he was deeply devoted. He graduated from Sound School in New Haven in 2001 and attended Southern CT State University for two years. He maintained lifelong friendships from grade school through high school and college. He was employed in the restaurant industry for many years in a variety of roles. He developed an expertise in cooking. Because of his warmth, caring and kind personality, he was a success at whichever hat he wore. Two of his favorite workplaces were Buffalo Wild Wings and Panera. Shannon loved interacting with people and always had a kind word or thoughtful conversation for anyone. He loved playing poker with his buddies almost as much as he loved the 49ers. He enjoyed fishing, loved all animals, especially his cats Bobby and Magic and his dogs Bear and Tattoo. In addition to his parents, he is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He will be greatly missed.
