Mary G. Crews (Nabors)

Mary Crews was born January 25, 1926 in North Carolina. She peacefully succumbed to God's call on Monday, October 16, 2017. Mary was the daughter of the late Edward and Sally Nabors. She was employed at Olin from which she retired in 1980. She encouraged many young adults to attend college, to work hard and never to forget family. She always helped anyone that she could with her loving heart and grace. She always was concerned for family and others. Sewing and crafts were some of the hobbies she enjoyed. Mrs. Crews is survived by her husband Charles L. Crews Sr., daughters Ann M. Crews of Hamden and Janice Caulk of Virginia, a son Charles L. Crews Jr. of Kansas, three grandsons, Douglas Wardlaw Jr. of New Haven and Daimon and Jason Caulk of Virginia. She is also survived by two brothers and three sisters, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, many cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at the First Church of Christ, Meetinghouse Lane, Woodbridge on Saturday, October 21 at 11:00am. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Rocky Hill, CT 06067. Arrangements are with the Hawley Lincoln Memorial, New Haven.
