Mary-Anne Hetherman Cole of Guilford, CT passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Mary–Anne was born on July 29, 1958 to Anna Lenky and Robert James Hetherman and grew up in Wethersfield, CT. She worked for many years in the insurance industry. Mary-Anne was an excellent cook, an avid reader, and always a helping hand. She is remembered for her laugh and her love of animals.

Mary-Anne is survived by her husband of 41 years, Frank Cole of Guilford, CT, and her two daughters, Charlene Cole Coulson and husband, Cameron Coulson of Stafford, VA and Anna Cole of Aylett, VA. Also surviving are Mary-Anne's three brothers, Richard, Matthew and Stephen. A private memorial gathering will be held for family and close friends. In her final year, Mary-Anne received loving care from the staff at Twin Maples Health Care in Durham, CT. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in memory of Mary-Anne to Twin Maples Health Care, P.O. Box 423, Durham, CT. 06422, Attn: Business Office.
