Pierson, Lois

Lois Virginia Pierson, 84, of Hamden died January 6, 2014. She was born in New Haven April 7, 1929 daughter of the late G. Rudolph and Myrtle Howe Pierson. She worked 42 years at the CT Agricultural Experiment Station with 33 years as secretary to the director. She retired in 1989. She was a member of the Hamden Plains Methodist Church and was active in the Quinnipiack chapter of Professional Secretaries International. She leaves a nephew Mark R. Pierson of Northford, a niece Lenore O'Connell of Green Valley, AZ and two great nieces, Shelby Lynn and Amanda Lee Pierson.

A private family service will be held. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation www.alz.org. Arrangements are with the Hawley Lincoln Memorial.
