Kenneth J. Borst died March 16, 2018. He was the son of Michael J. Borst and Elizabeth Seibert Borst. Born in Miami, FL he was raised in Mamaroneck, NY. He graduated from Bellows High School and Syracuse University (1949) from which he received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II (1943-1945) as a Naval Aviator flying long range anti submarine patrols. He worked for the George A. Fuller Construction Company in New York City on the Seagrams Building among others. He then worked at Yale University on the Beineke Library and the Yale Center for British Art. He was the beloved husband of Jane (Thornton) Borst and the father of Stephen Borst, Barbara Borst Crary, Ann Borst, Dr. Mathew Borst and Jane Borst Hiller. There are 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony's Church, New Haven Tuesday at 10:00am. Burial will follow at the Grove Street Cemetery with a reception following at the Graduate Club, 155 Elm St., New Haven.
