Obituary

Born May 25, 1937 Jack was taken from us suddenly on March 2, 2015. He was the devoted husband of Anne W. Pickett and loving father to Lynne (Pickett) Hopwood, Susan (Pickett) Kyhn, and Karen (Pickett) Sousa and fun-loving grandfather to Justin and Alicea Sousa, and Brendan and Hunter Kyhn. Jack was a student at Meriden High School and later Quinnipiac College. He was a long-time resident of the close-knit community of Seafields/Twin Coves Association in Madison. Jack was part of the highly successful sales team at WalkerEMD in Newtown, and loved his work and long-time clients throughout the state of Connecticut. For those that loved Jack, they remember him for his ready wit, quick smile and colorful stories.

Jack loved the beach and sailing with friends and family. Along with his wife and three daughters, Jack is survived by his sister, Laurie Pinover of Madison, CT and Bob (Robert) Pickett of Boca Raton, FL.
