Doris Moore Legge of Deep River died December 13, 2016.She was the widow of George Marsh Legge. She was born in New Haven on December 1, 1921 daughter of the late LeRoy and Ida Carlson Moore. In 1983 she moved to Deep River from West Haven. She was a graduate of Weylister Jr. College, was a member of the Deep River Congregational Church, served on the Deep River Library, was a member of the Friends of the Library, the Deep River Historical Society and the Deep River 60 Club. She leaves three daughters Suzanne and her husband Harvey Pond Jr., Elizabeth and her husband Alexander Smith and Valerie and her husband Peter Nucci. She is also survived by her grandchildren Emily RosePond and Alison and her husband Michael Lin, Daniel Smith and Lindsay and her husband Christopher Ladden, and Kimberly Nucci, and great granddaughters, Hannah and Brooke Ladden.She was predeceased by a granddaughter Caitlin Kerr Nucci.
