Daniel D. Price, Jr., a resident of Madison, passed away on August 2, 2014 after a short illness. Mr. Price was born on May 12, 1926 in Linwood, PA. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Correa of California and Mrs. Barbara Waggle of Florida and one brother Edgar Price of Delaware. She is also survived by two sister's in law, Mrs. Rosalie Bares of Massachusetts and Mrs. Teddy McQuillan of Pennsylvania and a son Daniel Price III of Madison. He was predeceased by a sister Mrs. Jean Beardsley of Delaware and his wife of 61 years, Catherine Day Price. Mr. Price served with distinction in the US Navy from 1944 until his retirement in 1968. He was a major contributor on the "Man in the Sea Program" as a Master diver and Master Machinist Mate Chief. After serving, he worked as manager of the Madison Flower Shop for many years as well as an Inspector at Connecticut's Auto Emissions Program. He was General Secretary and Home Secretary of Odd Fellow in Groton, CT. He will be missed.

Graveside services were held at West Cemetery, Madison. The Hawley Lincoln Memorial, Guilford was in charge of arrangements.
