Obituary

Constance Buswell Severance, beloved wife of William Lincoln Severance, entered into rest on Feb. 14, 2015. She was born on Dec. 23, 1918 in Ansonia, CT to Albert H. and Emily I. Hart Buswell. After graduating Ansonia High School in 1936, she completed a business course at Stone Business College in New Haven, CT. She then joined the staff of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. During her 29 year career with the Bureau she served as secretary to three successive special agents in charge. Mrs. Severance is survived by a daughter, Reverend Lynne Diane Severance of Hamden, CT, a son, Peter William Severance of Westford, MA, and grandchildren, Rebecca Severance and Neesa, David and Jacob Severance, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Severance was predeceased by sisters Marion McGee, Vivien Adiletta Dorothy Curran and a brother Frederick W. Buswell. She was a faithful member of Trinity Church on the Green, New Haven. She resided in Hamden, CT since 1962.
