Cheryl Faith Warzecha of Torrington, died July 23, 2024, after a long illness.  She was born November 4, 1943, daughter of the late Stanley George Warzecha and Rosalie Evangeline Sokolowski Warzecha of East Hampton, CT.  She grew up near Lake Pocotopaug and was a graduate of East Hampton High School class of 1961.  She also attended UCONN.

During her adult life, she also lived in Middletown, Wethersfield, Collinsville, and New Hartford.

Cheri's passion was creative writing but she relished all of the arts.  She especially loved reading and books lined the walls of her home.

Professionally, she pursued a number of careers throughout her life and retired from Aetna and Lincoln insurance companies.  Her avocation for many years was caring for dozens of canine friends throughout Hartford County.

Her siblings Stanley, Barbara and Eugene and their spouses predeceased her.  She especially loved being an aunt, great aunt and even great, great aunt and enjoyed keeping up with the escapades of all.

Cheri's family would like to thank the staff at Valerie Manor and conservator Frank Ramsey, all of Torrington, for their kindnesses, assistance and camaraderie during her last months.

Her laugh and jolly disposition will be missed by all.
