Benjamin E. Wooding September 30,1935 - May 23, 2023 (age 87)

Benjamin E. Wooding, 87, of 173 Alps Rd. Branford, CT died peacefully at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford, CT on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
He was the beloved husband of the late Lucille R. Wooding for 60 years.

Born in New Haven, CT, he was the son of the late Edward N. and Miriam (Addis) Wooding and the brother of Harvey M. Wooding of Redding, CT.

He was a longtime resident of Barrington (56 years) with Lucille until moving to CT in 2018.

Ben graduated from Williams College (Williamstown, MA) in 1957.
He worked in sales for 10 years after college before settling on a career in advertising. He worked at various agencies in Boston, MA before opening his own agency in Providence, RI. He worked there until his retirement. In his retirement, he enjoyed doing his own investing/day trading and did extensive traveling with Lucille.

Ben is survived by his brother, Harvey M. Wooding of Redding, CT, his daughter, Catherine (Wooding) Kinsella of Guilford, CT, and 3 grandchildren Carrie Kinsella of New Haven, CT, Christina Kinsella of Herndon, VA and Patrick Kinsella of Branford, CT.

There will be a private burial at a later date in Wallingford, CT.
