Obituary

Annemarie Margenau Lindskog entered into eternal rest on 4-20-24 at her home, attended to in her 9 weeks' battle against heart disease and kidney failure by a cadre of loving family and caring friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Professor and Mrs. Henry Margenau, her brother, Henry Margenau, and her son, Eric Charles Lindskog.

She is survived by her husband of almost 66 years, Carl W. Lindskog; her daughter, Laura Boyle (Don); her daughter, Kristina Lindskog; her son; Dr. Dieter Lindskog (Dr. Carrie Swigart); her loving daughter-in-law, Iris F. Lindskog; and 7 grandchildren: Dr. D. J Lombardo; Dr. Jeff Lombardo; Stefan E. Maser; Chiara Lombardo; Max Munro; Charlotte Lindskog and Emma Lindskog.

Annemarie attended Connecticut College for Women in the class of 1960, departing in 1958 to become a Navy Wife, and proud mother and grandmother. She had a short career in Real Estate with Ellie Page and then joined Topper and Ken Luciani at World Tec Travel, where she was Manager of Outside Sales for 20 years, and introduced her husband and children to the joys of travel.

She served a number of New Haven organizations in official capacities including the North End Club; The Yale University Women's Organization; and the Yale New Haven Hospital Auxiliary, where as President and in collaboration with Gaye Steinbach, Annemarie master-minded the hugely successful, first ever  Yale Medical School – Yale New Haven Hospital collaborative musical night: Cabaret.

A Memorial Moment will take place at the First Church of Christ, Woodbridge on a date and time to be announced.
