To Jim, Joanna, Erin, Shawn, Kelly, Max and the entire Flanagan family - what an accomplished life and a very full one. Be comforted in knowing Grandpa's biggest love was his family, especially his grandchildren and know that he rests in eternal peace knowing you all shared in that love. Peace

Charlie, sorry for your loss. Your father was a fine gentleman. I remember the look on his face when I would give him the Irish soda bread my wife made for him. May he rest in peace !!

Jack new five generations of my family and I am happy to say played golf with four of them.He is truly the end of an era at the New Haven Country Club.I know he is on the golf course with Bud Finch,Freddie Kamp and Walter Morgan and others.
I spoke with him often and I shall miss the back and forth banter that was so much a part of his life.
He is in a great place with my grandfather and my father.

So sorry to hear of the Judge's passing. Great memories of our annual Father's Day afternoon matches for a dollar and having him as my partner in a NHCC Member-Member. Many of us at New Haven CC will recall his famous Squirrel shot on the 11th hole. RIP Judge, we miss you.

For many years I was an administrative assistant in the Judges Chambers at the Superior Court in New Haven. I had the honor of working with Judge Flanagan every day. He was a wonderful gentleman and a proud man. I looked forward every morning to being sure his tie was straight and his pocket sillk piece was perfect. He ruled in court that way too. He will be missed.

Bob - I can't believe Jack is no longer with us. One thing is for sure - JCF led a long, successful and happy life. My deepest condolences to you, Jimmie and Charlie, and Jack's children. I shall always remember my years at Flanagan, Dorsey & Flanagan. We had laughs and fun as well as working hard for our clients. Those were the days. Take care of yourself.

My father, Bill Corbett, knew Judge Flanagan through Hopkins Grammar School -- he always spoke very highly of him. I worked as a Judicial Assistant to Judge Ellen Bree Burns and would see Judge Flanagan at many court-related dinners and events. He always had such a nice smile and way about him. My condolences and prayers to his family.

To James, Kevin ,Sharon and Charlie,
My sincerest condolences on the loss of this great man. I am honored that he considered me a friend. I met him when I was a young lawyer and he was a champion of the Bar. As a judge he was bright, thoughtful , knowledgeable and always used common sense. Practicing before him was a pleasure.
Boy did he love golf! The game has lost an avid admirer. No physical ailment could dull his ardor. His stance and swing were all his own not to mention his array of clubs. There has never been a golfer of his unique approach to the game!.
I`m gonna miss you Jack , from seeing you, talking sports , watching you wail at the ball and taking your counsel.
God give you peace, rest, freedom from pain and a decent set of clubs.

of clubs.
