I am so sorry to hear about Joan's passing. We were such good friends through our teen years and then beyond. I visited her awhile back in Branford and before that at her home on East River Road. She brought so many good thoughts and good memories to all. love from me...Betty

I was so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I met Joan and El when they moved into the Hearth, and Joan befriended my mother and was always very kind and helpful to her. We enjoyed our visits at the Hearth, and Joan never tired of telling stories about her 11 sisters and 1 brother! I will always remember her welcoming smile and her kind heart. My condolences to you all.
